Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect what we need to answer your message, take your booking inquiry, or run your listing. We do not sell personal information, we do not run advertising, and we do not put tracking pixels on these sites. There are no analytics scripts and no advertising cookies on this website.

Who we are

These websites are operated by White Door Properties, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean that company.

What we collect

It depends entirely on what you do here.

If you only browse. Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps. That happens automatically for every website on the internet and we use it only to keep the site working and secure.

If you send a booking or contact inquiry. Your name, email, phone number if you give it, your dates and party size, and whatever you write in the message.

If you ask to be introduced to a real estate agent. Name, email, phone, the market you are asking about, your timeline, an optional price range, whether you have spoken to a lender, and anything you write in the notes field. We also store the exact consent wording shown to you, the time you agreed, and the IP address it came from — so that both of us have a record of precisely what you agreed to.

If you list a property with us. Your name, email, phone, the property address and details, your photographs, your short-term rental permit or license number and supporting document where your city requires one, proof of insurance, and your payment details. Payment details go directly to our payment processor; see the payments section below.

If you join the mailing list. Your email address.

What we do with it

Only the obvious things:

• Answering you, and passing a booking inquiry to the owner of the home you asked about
• Publishing and maintaining a listing you asked us to publish
• Verifying that a short-term rental permit is valid and current, where the city requires one
• Billing a listing subscription
• Introducing you to a licensed real estate agent, but only if you ticked the box asking us to
• Keeping the sites secure, and meeting our own legal and tax obligations

We do not use your information to build a profile of you, and we do not use it to train any machine learning model.

What we never do

• We do not sell personal information. Not to data brokers, not to lead buyers, not to anyone. We have never done this and the business is not built to.
• We do not share your contact details with multiple agents. If you ask to be introduced to an agent, that is one introduction to one person.
• We do not run advertising on these sites, and we do not place advertising or analytics trackers on your browser.
• We do not screen guests. We do not run credit checks, background checks, criminal history checks or eviction history checks on anyone staying in a home, and we do not assemble or supply consumer reports.

Who else touches your information

We use a small number of outside companies to actually run the service. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job:

• Netlify — hosts the websites and keeps server logs
• Supabase — stores listing and inquiry records
• Stripe — processes payments
• Resend and FormSubmit — deliver email and relay form submissions to us
• Google Fonts — serves the typefaces this site uses, which means your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads

We also share a booking inquiry with the owner of the specific home you asked about, because that is the entire point of sending one.

Beyond that, we disclose information only when the law requires it, when we need to protect someone's safety, or if the business is ever sold — in which case this policy travels with it.

Where we report to a city, tourism bureau or similar public body, we report aggregate figures only — counts, averages, totals. We do not hand over guest names or contact details.

Payments

We never see your card number. Card details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor, and are handled under their security standards rather than ours.

When you book a home, you pay the owner of that home directly. The money does not pass through a White Door Properties, LLC account. We charge owners a flat monthly fee for their listing and take no percentage of any booking.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or social media trackers. We checked, and we intend to keep it that way.

Some pages use Stripe to process a payment; Stripe sets cookies necessary for fraud prevention and to make a payment work. Loading a page also requests fonts from Google. Those are the only third parties your browser contacts on a normal visit.

If we ever add analytics, this section changes before it happens, not after.

How long we keep things

• Inquiries that go nowhere — about two years, then deleted
• Referral and agent-introduction records — kept for the life of the referral plus seven years, because a referral fee can be paid long after the introduction and we need the record of your consent for as long as it could matter
• Listing and billing records — as long as the listing is active, plus seven years for tax purposes
• Mailing list — until you unsubscribe

Your choices

Whoever and wherever you are, you can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you
• correct it
• delete it
• stop emailing you
• stop sharing it with anyone

Email hello@whitedoorpropertiesllc.com and we will deal with it within 45 days, usually much sooner. We will not charge you and we will not treat you differently for asking.

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have these rights by statute as well, including the right to appeal if we refuse a request. We extend them to everyone rather than keeping two sets of rules. California residents should note that we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Security

The sites run over HTTPS. Records sit behind access controls, and the documents some owners upload — permits, insurance certificates — are stored privately and are not publicly reachable.

No system is perfectly secure and we are not going to claim otherwise. If we ever have a breach that affects you, we will tell you.

Children

These sites are for adults. They are not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so plainly on the site rather than quietly editing the page.
